Will my job-hopping ultimately harm my career?

Since arriving in Hong Kong eight years ago to work as a systems engineer, I have changed jobs a number of times, averaging about two years in each one. In all but one of those instances, I was headhunted, and the improved benefits and salary made it hard to turn down. I don’t regret all the changes as I have been given a fresh challenge each time.

However, looking at the future, I wonder will this hopping from one company to another have a detrimental effect on my CV? And, if I decide to stay longer in my current job, do I have much leverage to negotiate a more advantageous package from my employers?
