The atmosphere at my workplace has taken a turn for the worse. Should I get out?

I have been in my marketing job for two years and I have been getting disillusioned in recent months, mainly because the atmosphere has changed for the worse because of a change in personnel. Will a move to a smaller company pay off?

I have worked for over a decade as a marketer with a large established multinational, the last two in a management position. It has been a rewarding role but I have felt a bit frustrated at times by the slowness of progressing my career.I was recently approached by a much smaller, and younger, retail company to possibly take on the role of chief marketing officer.
